At the age of six, Jemimah began her career as a cricket player. Jemimah Rodrigues is a member of the Mumbai Team, which competes in the domestic competition.

Jemimah Rodrigues came into the world on September 5th, 2000 in the Bhandup neighbourhood of Mumbai.

Jemimah received all of her education at St. Joseph’s Convent High School, which is located in Mumbai.

In later years, Jemimah enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce programme at Rizvi College of Arts, Science, and Commerce.

In the course of her career in the domestic circuit, Jemimah Rodrigue has competed for a number of different local teams, including Mumbai Women in 2014.

In the year 2021, she competed in the Women’s Big Bash League for both Northern Superchargers and Melbourne Renegades. She also competed in the league for Northern Superchargers.

Jemimah Rodriques has been an essential member of the Women in Blue team. He has participated in 21 one-day international (ODI) matches and 53 twenty-20 international (T20) matches, during which he has scored 394 runs and 1127 runs, respectively, at an average of 19.70 and 27.48.

Jemimah Rodrigues: International Career

After making an early debut for the Under-19 squad, she has been playing professional cricket for quite some time now.

Her debut came at an early age for the Under-19 team. In a game of cricket with 50 overs, Jemimah Rodrigues became the second female player, after Smriti Mandhana, to achieve a century.

In 2017, it was successful in competition against Saurashtra. In addition to this, she scored 178 runs off 142 balls when Gujarat was her opponent.

It was only a matter of time until she was called up to play for her country’s national team. In 2018, she represented India in a three-game series against South Africa and was selected to play in all of those games.

She played her first One-Day International for India against Australia, and her first Twenty20 International against South Africa. In that particular year, the BCCI honoured her by bestowing upon her the Jagmohan Dalmiya Award for Best Domestic Junior Women’s Cricket.

She shared a humorous anecdote about her youth with her brothers in which she addressed the fact that their parents prohibited them from watching “Tom and Jerry.” At home, the siblings would repeatedly engage in the very same disruptive behaviours, much to the annoyance of their parents.

Jemimah has represented India in both ODIs and T20Is during her career. On the other hand, the latter appears to be her strong suit.

In Twenty20 competition, she has scored 1494 runs while averaging 30.48. She is an essential batsman who bats in the middle order and has the potential to change the game in their favour.

On February 13, 2018, 17-year-old Jemimah Rodrigues played in her first Twenty20 International match against South Africa. And her One-Day International debut was not too far off. Her first One-Day International match was on March 12, 2018, and it was played against the formidable Australia. She finished her first Twenty20 International series with an overall total of 87 runs, a batting average of 29, and an excellent strike rate of 122.53 for the matches.
