Charlie Dean’s courageous innings of 40 runs threatened to take the match away from England even though India had the English team in a dominant position during the third one-day international that was played at Lord’s.
With 17 runs still needed and five overs left to play, Deepti Sharma showed off her superior game understanding by running Dean out while she was in the midst of her bowling motion.
